It’s funny how you continually embarrass yourself with moronic post after moronic post.

I know you are beta liberal, but come up with something real.
I understand that what you mean is that what happens to the Kennedy Center won't affect the lives of Americans, and you're right, it won't.
But the situation is very real because it perfectly illustrates the political landscape in 2026. Trump demands to spend taxpayer money on a vanity project because his ego is ridiculous. The courts oppose him because they hate him. No other reason. Vanity/ego project or not, he's the POTUS and has the right to propose things like this.
So he responds with a doubled down portion of ego just to spite them.
This is basically how everything plays out these days. Including stuff that does affect your life.
This is populism. The new normal in the United States.

You keep proving you dont have TDS
I have seen you make intelligent comments elsewhere, so I am going to make one last try to see if you can comprehend what "TDS" means. It means having a different opinion of something based on whether or not it involves Trump.
There is literally nothing you can point to that shows I have TDS. In this case, I would think it preposterous that ANY sitting president wants his name put on a taxpayer funded and Congressionally-mandated monument to another president. If Reagan, Clinton, Obama, the Bushes, and/or Biden had wanted their name on the Washington Monument because of renovations, I would have been opposed to it.
You have Trump Distortion Syndrome:
-Anything that Trump does or thinks is good irrespective of the merits.
-Anybody who suggests that Trump could be wrong, makes up things, or made a mistake hates Trump.
Examples of Trump Distortion Syndrome:
-Clinton was a draft dodger! (So was Trump.)
-Clinton cheated on his wife! (Trump cheated on all three of his wives.)
-Obama uses a teleprompter! (So does Trump.)

The only sure thing is that lawyers will make money. That is the priority of the "Justice" system.
Always with your panties in a twist---seldom correct about legal matters. The lawyers for Rep. Beatty are working on a pro-Bono basis. They aren't getting paid for their services...much less by the hour.
Similarly, the DOJ lawyers represent the Kennedy Center Board members. Like the other lawyers, they are paid salaries...not by the hour.
No pot of gold damages award is being sought. The Kennedy Center Board is allegedly doing things that violate the law governing the founding and operation of the Center. How else do you suggest settling that dispute?

Lawyers produce nothing. They merely move money around while sucking out a huge percentage of it.
sorry that you were not smart enough to be an engineer or something honorable

I agree that lawyers generally aren't as productive, useful, or intelligent as engineers.
Trump's background as a developer (as opposed to being a lawyer) is probably what makes him the best president of my lifetime.
Lawyers resolve disputes and provide clarity about the law. Not curing the common cold, but that adds some value.
Again, how do you propose to solve legal disputes without lawyers???

He’s still got the scaffolding and tarps up, hiding where his name was removed. What a bitch

It sounds like the building needs work.
It needs to be sold off to the private sector. What governmental function does it further?
The democrats LOVE this center. "It celebrates the legacy of JFK!" Even though they would be calling JFK a warmongering, loose cannon, nepotistic, facist today.
Could you imagine the clawing at their faces and knashing of teeth by dems if a modern republican hired their brother as attorney general and then endorsing another brother for his old senate seat?
