Good effect.. yes.
Bad effect... no way. Obama owns this and will continue to own this.

I think the fat little dictator just looks at Rodman like a pet he likes to see once in a while. Rodman probably cracks him up since in that country he might as well be an alien. Guaranteed no one else in all of North Korea looks remotely like a 6ft 8in chia pet with earings and tats everywhere. Plus Rodman is all about excesses from cigars to liquor and women. So, is the fat little dictator. A strange dog and pony show when those two are together......
Long term, Rodman beats Obama all day for positive effect and Obama wins for negative effect, no question, not even close.

With North Korea? It's possible.
With other countries? Doubtful.
Also, by "effect" I am lumping in both positive and negative effects.

I'm cool with however diplomacy gets done. If Rodman was our savior to make this happen, so be it.
Although unorthodox, we needed to stir things up from the past and it's paying dividends.

Rodman is sober now and living a fairly normal life I have heard.

If he is that's great! He's done this many times before so I hope for his sake he's over that life this time. Still think he has a greater positive impact with NK than Obama though. At least he made the fat little dictator stop what he was doing for a little while when he was there....
