Nothing the Chief said on his Facebook page was untrue, but Jack Hawkins kisses China's arse, so we shouldn't be surprised that he sucks up to BLM either.

Here are the comments that got him fired:

quote:

In a lengthy Facebook comment, McCall said: “People die in police custody all from time to time. Did the officer make a mistake? Yes. Does he regret it? Yes. Was he intentionally trying to kill George Floyd I don’t think so. Did George Floyd plan any role in his own death? ABSOLUTELY!

“He fought with the police who were trying to make a lawful arrest. Don’t fight with the police and fight in the courtroom. That’s what the system is for. Let’s look back and review. If Floyd complies and doesn’t fight with the police is he still alive today? YES."

That simple, undeniable truth got a man fired. It's like the whole country is suddenly under the power of MiniTru.

Orwell was a prophet.

Making those comments at this time, without thinking there would be repercussions, is merely a reflection of the intense arrogance and above-the-law attitude that many police officers hold... and why they need to learn a little humility.

More evidence it’s not about justice, but revenge.

Not revenge... humility. Subservience to civilian control.

All true, but honestly, knee on the neck isn't by any means necessary. Period.

No reason to go over this, again. Chauvin did wrong. Bigly.

What specifically in his statement made you think he needs to “learn some humility” other than the fact he didn’t just post “I’m sorry”?

I’m not loving the anarchy, but now is not the time for a police officer to post “comply or die.”
