There's some legitimate lies in that piece...
quote:

After transcripts and audio surfaced showing that Modly disparaged Capt. Brett Crozier, whom he had fired for sending a letter to Navy officials pleading for help, calls for his resignation mounted

Someone is about to get their asses sued for that outright and knowing falsehood.

I didn’t realize the president made this comment-

quote:

At Monday's White House briefing, Trump said Crozier's career should not have to end for what the president described as a mistake

Yeah, I could care less for the dude, but that's a blatant lie...

The Commander clearly violated readiness...

Modly's profanity-laced speech to the sailors

I thought sailors were renowned for their profanity-laced speech?

Ghey.

Forgiving guy...I'd be less forgiving, command is not Crozier's strong suit...

Dude should've gone to PACOM, and if he did, he should've waited for their response...

Modley’s speech was so bad. I found it opportunist, intoxicated, and cringe. Go Navy! At the end just cap off a very bad message. Yikes.

I would've handled the troops completely different...would've thrown a touch of praise his way for trying to protect the most valuable asset, the men and women of the Navy...

But, we cannot violate secret readiness...reporting tools are in place to protect you from potential enemy interdiction.

...and if Vietnam was chosen because of stores of HCQ and Zpacks along with additional security measures..they should've told Crozier

yeh, just wow. Could have just stuck to the facts. A 5 minute speech was all that was needed.

Truth - could have just done a rah rah speech and once he left, have one of XOs rip the sailors for an example of why you don’t send emails like that ...it was awful optics- cost him his job and prolly gonna get the rona

Why fly 8000 miles to deliver a tirade, when he had already dismissed the Captain? Modly could have done it over a Comms link from DC. I guess he needed to be there for dramatic effect. Just a lot of stupid here, any way you look at it.
