Has anyone claimed that we balanced the budget?

And not a single person in here "celebrating" believes that's what happened.

I guess we're going to ignore the thread title.Ok. Carry on.

It's like someone with $200k in student loans posting "I didn't outspend my income today" on payday. Congrats, I guess?

Your comment most likely has sfp in tears and screaming at his mom from his basement bedroom and taxing authority just comes across as a needy child who is currently laying on the floor kicking his feet.

I don't. In fact, I understand the broader context which makes it the significance of the subject of a single month "surplus" meaningless.

I'm not sure how to help you.

Says the person promoting not looking at the entire picture and failing to understand why this doesn't matter

The government got more money than it spent in June. That’s called a surplus, like when you have money left over after buying your toys.

The extra money came because the government collected more taxes on stuff coming from other countries, which are called tariffs.

Wow, that wild guy actually made it happen!

I broke down what OPs title meant. None had to do with we balanced the entire budget

I'm sure you're ignorant of this but 99% of the posters see through you and know you just talk out your arse so you can feel some kind of self importance.

I've found the perfect summary for their "argument"

That's a common defense mechanism for people being made to look foolish, like the various threads pushing this irrelevant talking point
