Too bad we dont have a real media in this country to call these two out. Instead we are probably going to hear from Lester Holt, David Muir and Jeff Glor later tonight about how "TRUMP REFUSES TO FOLLOW ORDERS!"

quote:

This is the nut of the whole thing.

Vindman apparently believes that HE’S the one who makes & coordinates U.S. policy.

This may come as a shock to him and the Democrats, but the President of the United States makes U.S. policy.

Case closed.

I hope that this becomes common knowledge because even the low info voter will know that an Army Colonel is lower in rank than POTUS.

No, but he did take an oath, and it actually means something to him.

"I, _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God."

All that oath means to him is something to wipe his arse with.

So which part of the Constitution was he defending by ignoring the foreign policy directives of the President because he didn't like them?

When it comes to foreign affairs, the President can NEVER violate "U.S. Policy" because he alone sets U.S. Policy.

In trying to supplant his opinion of what U.S. policy should be over the President's directive, he should immediately be court martialed for clear insubordination.

“Wait, an Army Lt. Col. doesn’t outrank the President or make foreign policy?”
