Our society is literally at the point where violent mobs, and factions roam the streets destroying property and using violence at will, with ZERO consequence from law enforcement. However we have seen several times (McCloskeys, and now this) already, the police will not be there to protect you, but they will be there to prosecute you when you protect yourself.

Police don't prosecute crimes. That's the District Attorneys.

We aren’t. IMHO everyone should read this book. It covers self-defense, how to barter, how to deal with securing your house and family in very good -non-hyperbolic terms.

For example he doesn’t say you need 100 AR-15s and 100,000 rounds of ammo. But rather recommends something you can conceal and have with you all the time. Very practical advice.

The shooting in Austin, where the driver was accosted by “protesters” ... was an exact scenario he talks about.

This. Is. Truth.

Lucky for us, the first and second amendments exist.
They are literally what separate America from every other country ever in history...
This is the problem we're facing. A lot of good but hopelessly naive people actually believe shite like this. An old piece of paper isn't going to save you.

Let's take the 2nd Amendment. One day in the not too distant future, a Democrat majority Congress passes sweeping gun control legislation. Then President Biden (or Harris or whoever) signs it into law. "Aha!" you say. "Can't do that. 2nd Amendment, motherfrickers." Five justices of the US Supreme Court, including the Ginsburg clone or another "Wise Latina" who replaced Justice Thomas after being nominated by Biden and approved by the Democrat majority Senate decide that "well regulated militia" means strict gun control (or whatever crazy shite they make up).

if these ANTIFA clowns tried a real revolution and they started rolling up in large numbers on suburbs looking to battle their losses would be worse than the Germans invading Russia.
Think about it this way America = the sum total of all 50 states, cities large and small, suburbs, towns, counties/parishes. Now step back and take a closer look. In this revolution, can you name the cities that are burning or have for all intents and purposes capitulated to the revolution? Do I need to really list them? Is it contained? Is it spreading? How about entire states? Are some pretty much in the grip of the revolution already? Do I need to name a few? And then there is the Fed. Govt. is one house of Congress pretty much subject to the whims of the revolution? Extra credit if you can name which one. And then the public institutions, like mass media, social media, universities, bureaucracies, corporate entities, union leaders, and more? Are there any not towing the revolution’s line? Is the current occupant of the White House under unrelenting siege?
What makes anybody believe ANTIFA/BLM’s revolution is an “if” proposition? It is well underway, under our noses, unfolding while we sleep.

I talk to my Argentina friend about this all the time. He says the same thing but always reminds me the biggest difference is how rich the US is and how that will bail us out compared to their where they'll eventually default into another Argentinian financial crisis.

What your Argentine friend must not know or remember is it wasn’t that long ago that Argentina was one of the most stable and financially solid nations in South America. Their wealth did not protect them.

The real shame is that the Deep State media is totally in bed with the anarchists.

Fact. This can't work without a complicit media. They have to constantly restate the narrative and change the obvious.

Not arguing, but wondering...can you post the span of specific years you are referencing?

Are you talking about the midnight renditions where the police throw you out of the helicopter? I could totally see that.

The difference is urban, suburbs and rural areas are different in the United States from one another and there is no one centralized place for prosecution and enforcement - generally speaking.

I would say if this continues, urban areas would just crumble into chaos. Obviously this will have an impact on suburbs and rural areas but the impact in today's world will be less than you think.

Get out of the cities, if you believe this will continue.

Love this map even though the map has a slight error: Van Zandt County in Texas (the gray spot two counties over to the right from Dallas) voted GOP by a very wide margin.

The police have never been there to protect you in the USA.

People went all in on "hero worship" after 9/11 and this is the result.
