A week later she tests positive.
Were her symptoms mild or severe? Did she require hospitalization or is she at home recovering?
Issue isn't whether she is at home or in the hospital. The issue is whether she spread it to half a dozen people, some of which spread it to another dozen, who took it to grandma or grandpa, who ended up in ICU. That is exactly what is happening in Houston. I can actually see how full our hospitals are thru SETRAC. Their standard ICU beds are near full. There is additional capacity, but the problem is that Covid patients stay there for 2-3 weeks, so beds don't turn over very often. We aren't over running our ICU beds yet, but we do need to slow the spread.
Bars are one of the riskiest places to be. So have all y'all saying they shouldn't close been out to a bar around tons of folks hoping you catch it? Put your money where your mouth is!

You can’t sit here and act like you care about the overall health and well-being of your citizens by “locking down” restaurants, bars, entertainment, he be ok with thousands taking to the streets to protest whatever the flavor of the week social injustice is.

I have been telling all of my employees to wear a mask, avoid crowds, dont go to bars, wash your hands. Is that a nanny state diatribe? No, we are an essential business that is fully open for business. Only a positive test result by an employee of covid spreading around the office will close us.

No, it's not. Do you know why? Do you?
Let me help. You're a private citizen in a private business preaching personal responsibility. That's how it should be. That's the point.

Learn to read sarcasm. Her post was also not a nanny state diatribe.
