Quite frankly, if this country is willing to wimp on this, here and now, then Trump doesn't even need to bother to run for a second term because WE ARE DONE... It either stops right here and now or it is OVER... period, end of story...

Baker, Im with you, Ive said this on quite a few threads. There are 45 million people who are migrants or anchor babies at this point. Its worth 10K more to put an end to it.
And with existing laws we cant stop them. They will all claim asylum, we dont have the judges nor border controls to process them all, and we have to release within 20 days.
Trump needs to mobilize some troops, have them stop about 20 miles from the border and practice manuevers, never coming close to the caravan. The media will be built into a frenzy chasing the military, and then....nothing, other than a pack of illegals crossing.
Classic Trump 4d chess.

I think someone here did the math and it'll take them until at least Nov. 9th to get here at their average pace so far.
So what happens when they get here a couple days after the midterms are over? Letting them in would be for nought in that scenario.

You dont think the libs see the fact that immigration is now the number one issue with voters, and they want controls. The babies in cages did not work, a few dead bodies are key to them swaying the vote.

Simple solution.
We already have areas where lawlessness is preferred.
These areas are called SANCTUARY CITIES.
Use some of that money saved on aid to Guatemala and spend it on busses with American bus drivers and of course they will need security on the way. Bus driver jobs. Bus leasing jobs. Security jobs.
Send the first ten thousand to San Francisco and ask Chuck and Nancy where they want the rest.

But that's precisely the point. That's what happens every time pre Jan 20 2017. The Dems say "oh just give us this, then we won't ask for any more" and stupid Republicans say "well, we can live with this, and they promised" then the next thing you know the Dems are no longer satisfied with what the idiotic right caved on and so on and so forth.
It is stupid. It isn't time to cave in to the left, it's time to cram "elections have consequences" right down their throats. After the elections , Republican leaders need to consolidate their power and financially hurt any members who won't vote with them. Meaning if you vote no you lose campaign money, and just shut the Dems completely out of the process.
