Good grief, he looks like Lena Dunham
I hate to tell him and his ilk, but we had more people watching the LSU-Alabama game at Legends than were at the Antifa demonstration he probably attended that afternoon...

Not only that, he finds it revolting just being in the presence of someone who disagrees with him on politics. Well if disagreement means conflict (and it shouldn’t) then find something you both relate to...but his revulsion is such that he can’t even get his mind off of it

“Diversity is our greatest strength”
“I must piss the people off that had a hand in raising me due to them having differing political opinions than me”
These stupid shits are absolutely remarkable

Was GQ always this pathetic?
It used to be about pussy, clothes, cigars, and drinking.
Now, it hires writers like this. Seriously, they hired this bitch.
I feel like Millenials are on a quest to ruin everything the Boomers didn't totally destroy This is why Gen X is cynical.

A lot of progs like my sister are total fakes. It’s a way to be different and in their mind cool. Hey look how different I am

The real problem I see here is these people putting their ideology before family.
I don't care what you believe, it's family first (unless your family are abusive assholes of course).
These are the same people who tout parents loving and accepting their kids no matter what they disagree with about their lifestyle (homosexuality, interracial marriage, etc).
But god forbid they vote for different political candidates. frick these entitled little shits. More liberal hypocrisy at it's best.

Some of these people permanently damage relationships even with family.
Groundbreaking, right? Being a dick to people isn’t good for fostering relationships and may make for a shitty holiday when you’re all together

What happened to the good ol' days when politics and religion were off-limits topics at the dinner table? You know, because, MANNERS?

I would like to add that this person says both his parents and those of his wife we're Hillary supporters but I guess some of his relatives weren't
Well let me just let you in on a secret mr. Millennial man. If I were a Hillary supporter and my child came home with the intent of being an arse to other people I invited who are Trump supporters my kid would be shown the door with a quickness.
He or she wouldn't be able to make all be able to make all their fantastic points
That shite don't play in my house. You want to have civilized discussion? Okay. You plan to willfully be an arse? And I hope you fricking like Chinese food

Don’t show up. For some parents, your absence will speak louder than any sodden arguments over the density of pumpkin pie. If you can’t even look them in the eye, they’ll know you mean business. Besides, Friendsgiving rules.
In other words, since you didn't win, act like a spoiled brat instead of a child who is grateful for all the things your parents have done for you!
I couldn't think of a better way of showing thankfulness on Thanksgiving than pouting.

REading the article again it shouldn’t be titled
“Why I belong in a mental institution”
His father was so worried about a childish outburst but didn’t want to hurt his feelings and he publishes this anecdote totally unaware of what actually happened. Jesus, i have aspergers but even i would pick up on that

The best part is undoubtedly him publishing an anecdote that his father was terrified of being embarrassed by his potential outbursts and he’s so nuts that even writing it out, he doesn’t pick up on it

It sounds like his hillary voting parents were terrified of their man baby having an outburst and embarrassing them. So in order to have a good thanksgiving they went with the manipulative approach

Wow
I’d be such a super passive aggressive bitch to any family member who showed their arse like that. I almost wish we had a family member who’d do this but we won’t because we aren’t losers at life.

Does GQ stand for Gay Queer these days?!?!
Surely no 'gentlemen' would read this garbage publication.
