I love my family but that doesn't mean respect isn't required in my house. You want to come to my house and act like an a-hole I'm good with that. You're an adult. I don't fricking need you in my house ever again until you figure out some respect. If you think your presence is so special that I'm going to want you there anyways why you disrespect me you have another fricking Millennial thing coming.

LOL at young people or really any family members thinking they are so self-important that it is the other person's loss in this situation

From one of his other pieces of journalism brilliance- Dressing Room Confessions of an Anxious Male Shopper
"Unfortunately, finding the right fit opens a gateway to the biggest, most destabilizing crisis of all: Why is my weird body so weird? When you think you have a weird body but you actually don’t, that’s called body dysmorphia. Trying on clothes is the easiest way to prove that you don’t, in fact, have body dysmorphia, you just have a weird body. Take my body, for instance. (Take it and cast it out into space.) My body seems to live in between sizes like a ghost in the wall. I’ll see a shirt that’s so close to my platonic ideal of how a shirt should look, except it‘s too tight around the chest. Go up one size and guess what: now it's too big and it puffs out in the back and I look like an actual bedsheet-ghost. Spooky."

My low T cousin tried to pull some of this shite last thanksgiving. Said he didn't understand how half the country could be bigoted racists. My uncles, one being his father, my grandfather, and I calmly explained it was accusations like those that drove people to vote for him. It took him awhile to understand that accusing half the country of being racists with no actual basis would piss them off.

I have not seen my sister or BIL since before last Thanksgiving. They were staunch Hillary supporters and the entire rest of the family were Trump supporters. Doing the math, that was 16:2, but they were pretty damn confident before the election that Trump was going to lose and let everyone know of their glee. When Thanksgiving came around, they were nowhere to be seen, and they have bowed out of every family function since then. It's pathetic that they act this way. They are both in their 60's.

It’s scary how successful liberals have been in convincing millennial that all non-liberals are klansmen.

Word

And we can’t talk politics because progs get upset thinking you’re arguing for every -ism in the book

And a smaller number of people on the right think you’re a member of ISIS or hate America

2012 they were way more subtle about it. 2016 they go full court press and lose...imagine that, insulting people doesn’t win you their vote. They didn’t want to, that’s why they weren’t subtle. They thought they had the numbers without them and went all in on bashing them

I can't imagine living in a family where that reaction would even be possible.

No one in my family would even consider such rudeness on a holiday. And if they did, they would be shown the door with the quickness and not a tear would be shed.

Lol, as if right on cue for my Thanksgiving.... It has been 12 years since my hippy SIL and her husband have graced my door and they are arriving tomorrow.... The last time they were here, she and her beta husband bitched about the meal because they claimed they were vegans, news to everyone else... Then he talked nonstop about how horrible it was to kill animals and how terrible guns are... Then she bitched about Afghanistan and all the war crimes US soldiers were committing.... it was at that point that I put down my napkin and told them both they had better choose their next topic carefully because I was past the point of slapping the taste out of their mouths..:

They left rather quickly... I am actually looking forward to tomorrow....

I'm just fascinated that adult children this age think they are that indispensable

Look. I love my kids. But any parent that puts up with this Behavior and doesn't immediately kick your arse out of the house is out of their minds

It is very telling to me that this person seems to believe he could do this and make it through dinner without being kicked out. Tells me something about the pussies that raised him

No he puts a lot of product in his hair either so he’ll fit in at a Trekkie convention or with his BDS Jew hating friends...”guys, I’m like Bernie. I’m one of the good ones.”

It’s like how white people act woke or call themselves feminists at every opportunity because being a white male may indicate that you’re a racist and they want to be “one of the good ones”
