Trump is wrong on this, but I don't believe it is for this reason.
I believe it is for political reasons. Either he is using it for leverage, or he has been convinced the reality is too damaging.
I don't believe Trump is blackmail-able in that manner.

Fact - if they had anything legitimately damaging against Trump, they would've unleashed it against him before he reached the bottom of the golden escalator in Trump Tower on June 15 2015.
Quite literally, they have nothing on this man - this is why every manufactured scheme that they market heavily as some manner of "scandal" has to be fabricated whole cloth.
