Democrats love high gas prices. It hinders people’s driving habits and moves them to electric / hybrid.
Conservatives like fossil fuels because we don’t believe the climate change hoax.

You’re missing the point. My problem is about to become the problem you’re comparing it to, because there’s a lot of aggravated people sharing my problem who will desperately vote for something else unless heads are removed from asses.

Yes, let’s “desperately vote” for the democrats who pay >$4 a gallon year round in California because of gas taxes. That’s the same party that ended new offshore drilling via executive order the moment Biden took power. The same party that had insanely high gas prices all of 2022 and had to drain the strategic oil reserves to somewhat bring them down for the midterms. The same party that passed electric vehicle tax credits. The same party that endorses the green new deal.
Give me a break.

The answer is simple. Gas prices are full of profits for big oil companies. When we have communism the govt will control the means of production and take no profit. All you will pay for is the commodity. I know the USSR had a lot of shortages but we'll do it right this time.
