Senator Scott would agree with you, and said as much during his speech. He doesn't need you to point it out.
We all bash Joe because he makes no attempt to back up his "unity" bullshite, yet when a republican actually does make an effort to unify by working with dems and showing that a-hole in the WH how it's actually done, he's a RINO or a cuck or another one of your favorite buzz words.

Watch for Rove lurking around: any ties with Rove drop the candidate. Rove's new ploy is we have to have someone of the right race or sex as a candidate, not America First. Nikki was a flop: Rove thinks the key is identity politics. He is a fool, but a very rich fool who still has power in the GOP for some reason.

Certainly did. Great speech. And he blasted Joe plenty. He said one vaguely kind thing about him. Got it out of the way early and then went to work. I'm not saying he should be president--I lean more toward DeSantis--but we could do a hell of a lot worse than Tim Scott. Joe farts out empty lies about unity while Tim Scott actually tries.
