there is almost no population of any size that's "far right" anymore, but if you listen to leftists (who are bordering Communists these days), it's half the entire country

Good to see that actually on graph form. That's exactly what I've been saying for years, that the libs are the ones going extreme and lurching leftward.
Considering the middle ground has become "moderate democrat", it's obvious that this was a brilliant move by the libs to shift the paradigm.
Should the R's have been pushing right for the last 25 years to counter the dims pushing left? That's up for debate... but probably.

So my question is this about the Pew graph and the 2020 election: Are there more R's prone to vote D in 2020 or more D's prone to vote R in 2020? Where is the net gain??
