There are some researchers in the cryptozoology community who want to be the person who gets the video evidence that proves sea serpents exist.
They will dis the claims of anyone else who does have the video evidence.

Context matters. See "when they go low we kick em". What kind of idiot intelligence operation would rely on just lies? It is obviously more effective to mix in truth.

Yes, many Russian trolls came here for their training, but found the level of bias from many they were supposed to learn from too unbelievable.
