This is literally a law to do nothing (according to the Democrats). They insist illegals arent voting in elections yet they are fighting this with every fiber of their being. There is no reason This law should pass 100-0 and the fact that Thune won't even force a fricking vote is insane.

Well, it's about damned TIME those who claim to be conservatives ceased negotiating and ceding ground to the Left. Never ONCE has the Left backed down from what they have wanted. The only thing that keeps the Left from getting absolutely everything they want is a slightly conservative majority on the Supreme Court. The elected representatives and senators have done f*** all to adhere to constitutional limits and principles.

It seems the big loss for Dems on the SAVE Act is same day registration, and mail in votes from illegals that have been registered to vote. They harvest the ballots and either send them in by mail or, as seen in many security cam footage, dropped off at night.
Biggest win is automatic voter registration would be illegal.
Huge win against their harvesting and mail/drop box scam.
All those get out the vote public registrations that the dem NGOs have, would be obsolete, as an unregistered voter would need proof of citizenship.
