I have little doubt life exists elsewhere. I have no doubt intelligent life is out there.
But I have my doubts they traveled the immense distances between us.

Windows 7 is a very stable operating system that is more user friendly and more easily customizable than 8 or 10 in a lot of ways. I can understand hating on people still using xp, but 7 is a good OS.

I agree.
However, they may have some form of interdimensional travel or they may have always been on this planet but are millions of years more advanced than us.

Trying to discover the truth is addictive.

It really is. I show up thinking maybe I'll just rub a little on the gums. Twelve lines later, I'm arguing about sea monsters and demon sword fighting tactics.

We need to organize an annual PT blowout, everyone comes anonymous and the game will be trying to identify each other during various round table discussions.

It'd be a good time. Be like trying to figure out who the occasional new alters are, but in real time.

Oh hell yeah! We could do a modern interpretation of the old game show, "What's My Line?" Everyone could print out a few of their favorite threads and you could get matched up in a round table with other participants and ask each other questions until someone figures out who's who. I have to think about this, it has the potential for some crazy arse good times.

Nothing against Tampa but why Tampa, Vegas, NOLA?

I've spent enough time in both for a lifetime.

Tampa isn't at the beginning.
I moved to Tampa many years after I was born in Amityville.

Why did you move from Amityville? Were you horrified? (Get it? Am I late?)

Fair enough, Tampa is in the running.

I never actually lived in Amityville. I was born in a hospital in Amityville but my home town was really Bethpage, L.I., N.Y.
However, I used to joke with my mother that my twin brother and I were the original Amityville horrors. That always made her laugh because when we were born the doctors didn't know she was having twins and after my brother was born they rolled my mother out of the operating room and she thought everything was over.
However, ten minutes later they had to rush her back into the operation room because of me.

Call me skeptical
But I find it hard to believe that 'aliens' somehow ended up with the exact same physiology as humans, except for the number and length of its phalanges. Even Earth has life forms without lungs, aren't bipedal, have multiple appendages. Its hard for me to believe that 'aliens' formed exactly as we formed, and somehow evolved at a slower rate than we did, because they still look like us, and yet have mastered space travel
