re: Thoughts on 9/11

It's interesting that all vitriol & name-calling is coming from anti-truthers. Pretty sure there is an old saying about that. People are actually getting offended because someone else questions the official story.

The people that keep saying it couldn't be kept a secret have forgotten the tens of thousands of people that worked on the Manhattan project without uttering a word. Compartmentalization works wonders.

It is not a stretch to think that foreign agents were used here, either. Most of the people that would be involved in an event like this would also benefit from it. It is not that surprising that no one has talked.

Unless you count Nicholas Rockefeller. The only source is the filmmaker he talked to, but it adds fuel to the fire.

Also, at least 1 person did come forward and told Bill Cooper it was happening, because he said the attack was coming and gave details. Unless you think he somehow had sources inside of cave-dwelling terrorists on the other side of the world, his information came from a US insider. Shouldn't a well-known former intelligence officer saying there was going to be an immenent attack garner at least some kind of inquiry from the government?

Can anyone explain why the news footage was doctored if everything was above board? It was a bright blue day but news footage of the planes crashing shows an almost grey sky.

The BBC announcement about building 7 has already been brought up, but it is routinely ignored by anti-truthers. It's also suspicious that at least 2 media personalities said a missile hit the buildings when it was always considered to be a plane attack. Eye witnesses also said it was a missile, not a plane.

The footage of the planes hitting the building is sketchy too. Wings can be seen disappearing without leaving a mark on the building. A plane's nose can be seen coming out of the other side of the building still maintaining it's shape.

Why was NORAD running a simulation of planes being hijacked at the exact time the attacks occurred? Just coincidence? It would take a full post to list all the coincidences that are written off as irrelevant.

Why did buildings that fell under their own weight show explosions coming off them in a coordinated manner? Just another coincidence?

The designers have said that the buildings could withstand more than one plane crashing into them. A B-52 hit the empire State building, and it was basically shrugged off. Those barely trained pilots with no knowledge of structural engineering were able to perform near impossible moves and crash into the buildings in the exact spot required to cause them to collapse from a single hit.

The owner of the building, who had breakfast every Monday in the tower, just happened to have a doctor's appointment that day. His son and daughter that worked with him both happened to be running late that day too. Coincidences abound.

The explanations for the molten steel are flimsy at best. Most of the people that "debunk" this only show that heat from jet fuel can weaken steel. Sure, you can make something hotter than the source fuel, but you need an influx of oxygen. That seems difficult to achieve under tons of rubble.

There are far too many questions left unanswered and strange coincidences to think the government is telling the truth on this. At a minimum, the government knew it was happening and let it happen.
