What about those of us who voted for JBE purely because of all the Republican frickery perpetrated by Jindal?

The whole idea of "vote for our flawed shitty candidate because he is not as shitty as the other guy" needs to end.

I didn't vote for the Regressive Honor Code.

I thought the "conservatives for JBE" were pompous asses that needed to get off their high horse.

I would vote for ANYONE over a democrat, and I begged all the idiot evangelicals who voted for JBE to have some sense. But they were easily played by “honor code” POS

But here is your bigger problem, JBE is a good man

I will disagree with that.

He takes great effort to make that impression.

He is in my first person observations an arrogant, not too smart, elitist seeking every opportunity for personal profit from his political career. He understands completely the profits his hero Huey Long made from his populist politics. He courts the poor and minorities but has no respect for them IMHO. They are simply the base from which he obtains his power---the power he uses to advance the Edwards machine.

There was a long article on his family when his father was selected to entire the Louisiana Politics Hall of Fame and they were quick to point out their family received a large land grant from the King of France and fought for the Confederacy. When JBE made his run that little fact was deemed politically sensitive and all mentions were squashed.

He truly wants to assembly a class action lawsuit against oil and gas companies blaming them exclusively for coastal erosion and farm it out to his trial lawyer friends much like Moore did in Mississippi with tobacco. There are other such class action lawsuits that his old, very tiny law firm have been allowed to participate in since he became governor. No doubt the plaintiffs seek the power of the office for their advantage.

Well, I didn't vote. I should have voted for Vitter.

I didn't abstain because of the extra-marital affair (that is a family issue). I didn't vote for him because he is an a-hole.

Alabama saw us make a grave mistake here and is about to apply that lesson with Roy Moore.

And I hate Roy Moore.

All this "it's only one term!!!" talk is dumb and dangerous and completely discounts the staying power incumbency gives politicians. We only got rid of Mary Landrieu on our fourth try in nearly 20 years and that took a vote for ObamaCare that massively pissed us off.

That's precisely one of the reasons why I voted for Vitter. There are a lot of corrupt elements in this state that Vitter was correctly going after and that's why you saw a groundswell from pieces of shite like the Sheriff's association and trial lawyers pouring money and endorsements for JBE.

Vitter had the right enemies that made me support him.

It's the same rationale that Trump ran on and won with in 2016 and why I voted for him as well.

No it doesn’t. That’s fricking stupid. You vote for the less shitty candidate otherwise you always end up with the shittiest of all shitty candidates.

All for the sake of satisfying your own conscience. It’s like if you cheat on your spouse and then run to go tell her. That doesn’t help anyone but yourself. It’s fricking retarded.

Flawed? Vitter wasn't politically flawed. He fricked a whore or 2 a LONG time ago....and that makes him flawed?
Anyone who used that not to vote for him is a bitch and deserves to live in a broke dick state.
