Was he at the Z address to Congress?

Curious how it's "his" war when Israel was attacked on October 7....

I like Massi for the most part. But that sounds like theater on his part. Don't want to go; don't go. Don't have to announce it to the world as to why.

Because it was his policy to prop up and bolster Hamas. He specifically wanted them to stay in power in Gaza and provided assistance to them to make sure it stayed that way.

No problem with that. Along as he is consistent.

Nope. For the exact same reason.

“I’m in DC but I will not be attending the speech of the Ukrainian lobbyist,” Massie tweeted minutes before the foreign leader’s speech. “It is not charity. Charity would be given freely. The American taxpayers have been conscripted into making welfare payments to this foreign government.”
Say what you want about Massie, but he has firmly planted morals and beliefs and always stands on them.

Thomas Massie is the best politician in the United States and it isn’t close

But they’re our greatest ally

Massie is a big supporter of international trade when it's fair.

Massie didn’t care about them one way or the other. He just does his thing opposing wars and spending while not making exceptions for Israel
So AIPAC then has a personal vendetta with him and spends however many millions against him in his primary and fails.
So to answer diamondawg about why announce this for attention? I think he should be asking AIPAC why they went after Massie’s head like they did. It seems reasonable for him to gloat about it somewhat.

AIPAC has been running the republicans for so long they can’t stand when one escapes the plantation. It personally offends them.

If they let one person get away with defying them, other people might follow him
That's why they want to crush him

Ukrainian lobbyist.

We need more Massies.

That's doing the exact thing he is accusing congress of doing? Looks like it. Second, who started this current conflict and would YOU, Mr Massie, not take out the people responsible for murdering thousands inside our border in a mass attack?

Would we be sending Brandon to Israel to beg Congress for money if one of our Indian reservations rose up and massacred some nearby civilians?
