This whole Biden affair

This has got to go much deeper in implicate more than just the Bidens.
If the FBI had this laptop last year, why did they ignore it? Joe wasn't the nominee then. My guess is that going down that rabbit hole will implicate a lot of powerful politicians, both Rs and Ds. There is a tremendous amount of pressure on the FBI to keep this quiet.
I'm also skeptical of all theses salacious stories coming out. It could be an intentional effort to muddy the waters with demonstrably false information in order to discredit the real criminal activities...

Although there were some biden/ukrainian related businessmen arrested in the US not to long after the FBI got the emails....

it was a rhetorical question. My point is that the Dems could have shoved Biden under the bus last fall and nominated someone else.
Instead, they orchestrated a campaign to ensure that he was the nominee, even though he has clearly lost a step or two. They can't let Joe go down because it could uncover others behind Joe.
Honestly, I keep expecting Joe to have a "stroke" or "heart attack" at this point.

Set aside the histrionics, and avoid social media and alphabet news. People don’t vote based on all the arm-waving and BREAKING NEWS!!! Gibberish.
Since WWII, the American people have shown that they are patient and adverse to change. When they elect a party as president, they are unwilling to discard them after four years, the ONLY exception being Carter.
This year is no different. SloJoe was elevated to the candidate not because they thought he could win, he was elevated because his candidacy means the fewest down-ballot losses. He’s a placeholder, just like Romney, Kerry, Dole, Mondale, every other guy trying to unseat a party in the White House after four years.
Americans are patient, and don’t vote with a sledge hammer, in spite of all the rioting, or flag waving, or end of the world histrionics. They’ll go to the coffee shop, then vote, then pick up the dry cleaning before heading home. To them, it’s not life or death.

Two reasons.
First, Wray is about as Deep State as Deep State gets.
Second, going back to Hoover, the FBI (and all the intelligence operations) likes to have as much dirt on the powers that be as they can possibly get. They've got nothing on Trump. If Biden gets elected, he would be their puppet.
THAT is why Comey hated Trump so much. He had EVERYTHING he needed on sHitlary. He could bring her down in a second. With Trump, all he had were rumors and Russian disinformation he couldn't prove -- but he wasn't sure was true or not. So, Comey attempted to blackmail Trump. Unfortunately for Comey, Trump knew he hadn't done anything wrong and he called Comey's bluff/attempted blackmail.

Selwyn Duke at The American Thinker believes that the FBI wants Biden to win, and kept the scandal under wraps because it's the mechanism from which they will control him. A modern take on JEdgar Hoover's dirt files.

Good theory, but the salacious stories whether true or false is bringing attention to the very real Hunter Biden laptop and their corruption. If it is an attempt to discredit the real information on the laptop, it is backfiring.
The more people know about the existence of the laptop, the better. This is why Twitter and Facebook so desperately tried to suppress the information. It is why CNN and the other pathetic branches of (DNC or Communist China?) are trying to ignore it.
