The SPLC paid racists to act as snitches. I don't think anyone expected them to stop being racist.

This is a story about the SPLC paying snitches in these organizations to give information/documents about the organizations to permit the SPLC to create content about these groups and expose them. Normal people won't care if the racist organizations are a victim in that scenario or hold it against the SPLC.
