This NN thing is really bothering me and has shown me how government dropped the ball..

You have to pay more to do things faster?? If you want to go across town you can walk for free... do you have to pay more to get across town by bus, taxi, vehicle, etc....
If you want a faster car or truck, why should it cost more than a slow vehicle. What is up with Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Mercedes, Lexus, etc.... we need some government intervention here.
If you want to take a long trip in the U.S. why does it cost more to get there quicker by airplane than it does by bus? We need some government intervention here also.
If you want to mail something and get it there faster why do you have to pay more to do that? We need some government intervention here for sure. Express mail, Fedex, UPS, etc.. should all cost the same.
Funny how faster stuff seems to cost more. In the spirit of NN we really should demand that the federal government regulate everything so there is no extra cost for speed regardless of what it is that you are doing.

Funny how some people think every thought should be recorded.

This all could have been avoided if Al Gore did a better job inventing the internet

I don’t know about all that but NN is fear mongering.
If Netflix and YouTube take half the bandwidth but have no obligation to help the ISP increase total bandwidth that’s a bad thing
Removal of NN forces the content providers (shipping companies) to help build bigger roads.
That’s why content providers are against it.

If you are serious, you are not nearly as intelligent as you think and don’t understand how this works.

I bet you are a boomer. Just about every NN opposer is some cranky arse baby boomer.

I'm a boomer and a cranky arse but not a cranky arse boomer......and TBH haven't killed 1 fricking brain cell over NN. My life does not revolve around the fricking internet......except here of course

It wouldn't be the first time they have completely fricked us.

Here where it boils down for me...
The Obama administration was actively and deliberately corrupting the IRS, Justice System, and FBI to promote their Leftist agenda. Why is it such a stretch to think that NN was the first tentacle to begin choking the 1st Amendment?
It's not that government is bad necessarily. It's that the DNC is criminal enterprise that uses government to is corrupting purposes. As long as that is the case, I'll pay double for Netflix so long as I can rant and rave at will on Tigerdroppings.

Actually agree 100%. My original post was a dig at the people that support NN in theory without realizing that government control comes with a potentially enormous price.
Also, government control is always subject to big money, big lobby, etc.... selling out those that it is supposed to be protecting.
As an aside... most of the asshats on this board have no idea how frustrating it was back in the 90s to spend 12 minutes downloading one song on Napster.

It's like a Corvette owner bitching his monthly gasoline expenses aren't the same as a person driving a Versa.

Investment in better technology and new infrastructure costs money. NN guaranteed less investment and slower improvements.
Also, you think big bad telecoms only figured out this bundling and throttling concepts in the past couple of years since NN was implemented? Wondering what was happening before then...

So you just gave the power to the people that own the "Fake News" organizations

The reason your post wont get a serious reply is because this has all been discussed ad nauseum here. You act like you are making a point no ones heard of. Your ridiculous gibberish has already been answered 1000x here on this board. You are an uninformed lackey

Much more like buying a Corvette THEN having to pay more to drive it where you want at a functional speed
