What I am afraid of with him is that his pendulum swings too far to the other side of Sessions.

As in, I am afraid that he may be so gung-ho to wreak havoc and destruction that he out kicks his coverage.

I guess you could say that I don't trust his judgement. Or really, his character either. He's a little too eager to say shocking things just for the pleasure of seeing people recoil for my tastes. That calls his maturity into question for me.

Tom Homan is way gung-ho too, but I don't worry about his judgement or character or maturity level. He seems like someone you could give that job to and not have to worry about it after that...he'll take care of it and not 'eff it up, not create a mess that he has to get bailed out of.

If I were going to put Gaetz in charge of something like what they are putting him in charge of I would keep him on a very short leash.

I’m arguing why a lot of Republicans don’t like him, myself included. I’m sure the corrupt elected officials hate him for the reasons in the OP. They aren’t the only Republicans that dislike him though.

And they want Gaetz gone because he is upsetting their apple cart and shining a light on their less than ethical behavior.

Anyone who has served more than 3 terms in congress is likely corrupt. Sad commentary on our supposed leaders. It's a big club....and we ain't in it.

He was Madison/Rankin DA prior to Congress. I think he lived on the Madison County side as DA (Madison maybe??)
