Tru dat - but like all things created by humans, none of it is perfect.
There ARE things that cannot be revealed to the public in the interests of national security.
This allows unscrupulous people to use that fact for their advantage by mis-labeling things as 'critical' national security threats.
This is why we need a constant overturn (term limits) of people in high power - same as we do with POTUS. Two terms - or 8 years - should be the maximum for ANY federal elected office.
ALSO - congress critters staying in positions of power their entire adult lives cannot be trusted to NOT abuse their power for personal gain - whether that gain be in money form or just personal glory.
Nobody should govern who does not have to live just like ordinary citizens under the laws and regulations they produce.

Our ONLY protection has been a MEDIA that rabidly and constantly unearth the truth. What we have been subjected to for at least two decades is a journalism profession that is in cahoots with the Democrat Party (it would be just as bad if they had aligned with GOP - only in a different direction)
They have enabled even the most obvious scams to be buried under mountains of mal-information. They have carried the water for any initiative the DEM party vomited forth. They have appealed to the worst instincts of human existence.
