Were they there to impede the flow of traffic?

You voted for a cop punching a citizen who wasn’t threatening him? That cop is going to be fired and the citizens will pay out for the settlement.

Sometimes you have to get their attention so that they listen, an old parenting trick.

Yes, and the Bengals’ stadium. Both are directly across the river from Covington. I live about a mile from the bridge.

Yes. Their goal was to occupy the bridge for some unspecified period. In the pic below, they are approaching the bridge from Cincinnati towards Covington in the background. When they cross under that first tower, they’re in Kentucky and that’s when shite hit the fan. Notice the absence of Cincinnati police.

I don't like cops, i'm not big on cops using their power for no good reason.

However, in this instance, they are next to a rail with a very long drop. This IS NOT a good place for a tussle and resisting arrest. They all go over and someone might die. Get em on the ground asap by any means necessary in THIS instance.

These folks are anti-ICE and therefore very likely, leftist who are pro open boarders. In a way, yes this is what I voted for to address the issue of the left and their idiotic, unlawful open boarders policy.

We don’t know anything yet.

We do know there was a FAFO event and traffic flow likely resumed.

If it was up to me. The protestors resisting arrest would be doing hard labor out in the sun in the Desert. No more slaps on the wrist. Tired of these shreiking banshees.

Thought so! Went there decades ago when I was stationed at Wright Pat and saw Deon play. If I remember correctly, the Kentucky side was much more scenic with hilly/mountainous terrain?
