I worked with a guy that ended up getting to 540lb before he lost weight. Every day at lunch I watched that man eat a large pizza from Hungry Howie's and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. You gotta be an absolute fricking pig to get that big. He got to where he couldn't drive because he would randomly fall asleep. He's down to 220lb now so it can be done if you really want it.

Kind of is. 6'8", 500 pounds is a BMI of 54.9 - off the charts obese.
To be "merely" (or slightly, if you will) obese at 6'8", one would have to be 273.

He isnt lazy. It takes a lot of effort to eat 8 large pizzas, 12 big macs, and 6 dozen donuts a day. 90% of his awake time must be spent eating.
