This Is A Great Day for America - Shame 50% of Americans Can't See It.....

Casting bluster and hyperbole to the wind, human beings only catch a glimpse of TRUE GREATNESS on relatively rare occasions. But imo, tonight we will all get a chance to witness the ascendance of true greatness and excellence when Amy Coney Barrett is sworn in as the next Justice to serve on the Supreme Court. I had been hearing about this woman for years, and as such I already had lofty expectations regarding her. But when ACB testified for 2 straight days before the Senate Judiciary Committee, enduring hostile questioning 50% of the time, I was absolutely blown away by her intellect, charm, grace under pressure, and perhaps most of all, a demonstrated understanding of the law that perhaps no other nominee since Judge Robert Bork had displayed.

I remember watching ABC's coverage of the 2016 Presidential election on 11/8/16 (I had so much damn fun that night), and I still remember when the returns started indicating that Hillary Rodham Clinton would not win. ABC Correspondent and Louisiana's very own Cokie Roberts (RIP) became unhinged and literally kept repeating, "None other than President Barack Obama himself said that Hillary Clinton was the most qualified person to ever run for the Presidency. This just proves that MEN will not vote for a qualified woman.

No, Cokie, you were wrong. Men did not want to vote for THAT WOMAN, because we knew she was a phony, a crook, a shill, and perhaps indirectly even a murderer. You had your facts wrong, Cokie Roberts.

That's one more reason why tonight is such a great night. Amy Coney Barrett's gender is the LEAST of her vast and impressive qualities. Like I said earlier, we don't get a chance to see TRUE GREATNESS very often, but tonight is one of those nights. And for those of us men AND women who don't give a damn about identity politics, we recognize and rejoice over the selection of a truly great American WOMAN who will - GOD WILLING - serve on the Supreme Court with distinction for decades to come.

Welcome to the United States Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett. Imo, you are the best judge that President Trump has nominated so far.
