So explain to me why 13% of a population commits over 50% of violent crimes in America
What does violent crime have to do with companies choosing to invest money in advertising to women and minorities?

It's racist because it isn't a fact. Black and white people have equal rates of non-retirement investment accounts
Hmm lets look into that.

What percentage of your income would you estimate that you save in an average month?
Data source: Motley Fool Money survey distributed via Pollfish on April 26, 2023.
You do realize people lie on surveys like that. But now lets check with the US Government
quote:
By 2019, the average balance for white workers had risen to 116 percent of their income while that of Black and Hispanic workers was only 39 percent and 25 percent of their income, respectively
The Survey of Consumer Finances (SCF) is normally a triennial cross-sectional survey of U.S. families. The survey data include information on families’ balance sheets, pensions, income, and demographic characteristics. Information is also included from related surveys of pension providers and the earlier such surveys conducted by the Federal Reserve Board. No other study for the country collects comparable information. Data from the SCF are widely used, from analysis at the Federal Reserve and other branches of government to scholarly work at the major economic research centers.
Per the Fed.

I was in high school when Run DMC came out. I thought rap was clever, but I had no idea it would become a genre that would outlast Motown. Rap has been going on basically unchanged for 40 years.
It's just studio production techniques and talking. No singing, no hand played instruments, no melody, just digital regurgitation.
Pop music went downhill and stagnant when young people stopped learning to play instruments and picked up video games.

You act like you know so much about the races and facts I figured I would get your take on the criminal fact

Rap has changed a lot. It’s now pure crap. Lamar is considered the best of modern rap. It’s not good.

What was woke? They had people dressed in red white and blue in the shape of the flag.
Absolutely. They kept cutting to "Uncle Sam" aka Samuel L Jackson and he kept saying "Oh no, don't be too wild. Make sure to tame it down for "them"", etc.
Who's "them"?

Pop music by definition is always going down in one way or another. Then up again.
Good music sticks. It's everywhere as are good musicians. Just don't look to big media to find it or play it. Just ask around one's work place 'hey who has or does play a instrument or sings' you will find more than you thought lol

Pretty much. Raps bad, but so is most pop music.
I dont think is just old folks dissing it either, my grandaughters crew is into 70s-90s music.

No doubt there are some incredible musicians. Kids today on youtube are doing things with guitars that I would have thought impossible when I played in the 80s.
I was speaking mostly of the "masses" when it comes to popularity and corporate music promotions. The niches are better than ever. You just have to hunt them down.

Only racism is by you and the advertising firms that target based on statistics.
Every marketing campaign has a target demographic. Young people, married people, outdoorsman, women, kids, white men, black men. There's nothing racist about knowing your audience.
quote:I suppose you also believe avocado toast is the reason millennials aren't buying homes? I don't know a single person with $5k in shoes that doesn't have a custom shoe closet in the home that they own. And almost no one was getting a house for $5k down in 2020.
Yes in every way it does relate, impulse buying prevents the acquisition of a down payment.
On a starter home, Down-payments were in the $5k range across much of the country pre-2020.
It doesn't take a lot of splurge purchasing (I know people with a few thousand plus in shoes, they think it's an investment, but they don't own a house) to lose the ability to get $5k in cash.
If you can't see that you are a fool.
quote:Well no shite sherlock. That's how capitalism works. Everyone's money comes from a buyer at some point. Nike has still given multimillion dollar contracts to tons of black athletes.
No they haven't
This is what's broken with your mindset. They money doesn't come from nowhere, it doesn't come from Nike, it comes from the buyers.
quote:
Everything I said is true. Nike and other Liberal advertisers target your "black/brown" people because their wealth is more removable than your white/asian populations.
Why do you think there are so many ads for guns, gun safes, and gun cleaners and tacky arse fishing shirts on TD? The companies know they know they can "remove wealth" from the people here. That's how all advertising works.

Soo why is it racist to point out why they are targeting them?
It's not because they like them, it's because they can take their money.

Wow you have some rich parents don't you.
I don't know anyone with a shoe closet...
This explains your rich spoiled world view.

Tell me you don't know what average means.
You said something incredibly stupid there I can wait while you uncover why.

Because they pull money out of those communities. We agree.

So you think those companies are helping white people become poor?
