I have a son in HS. None of those names that I’m aware of.

My guess is that it’s an American name used typically by some black families.

But if the new gump troll also assumed that isn’t that also stereotypical?

I don’t get all the rules these days though.

Was asking serious questions. Well, as serious as I take this place anyway.

Unfortunately, Trump is the most hateful and divisive president in our entire history - rapists, horseface, lying, shithole, fine people on both sides, sleepy, Pocahontas, etc. so this slick ad piece is nice but doesn’t reflect him, the man, or how he had led the country with polarizing everyone against each other. You upvoters are sheep.

Ok. But is cow towing to the Dems and letting them walk all over you a good strategy?

My hope is that they will back off and then someone like trump won’t be necessary.
Can you see that perspective?

But, I think it may be too late for leftists to slow down their march left. If I’m correct, this will eventually turn ugly as the far right will #resist too.

That's exactly what he meant. I don't buy your act, but hey, if you're sincere, then that's fine too.

And no, it doesn't make me racist because I recognize a racist insult. That's ludicrous.

Which is whatever. But if you're going to make a comment like that, at least have the balls to stand beside it when you get called on it.

Damn , you really are stupid.

Trump is president because of Obama.

Obama fricking sucked , forced people to buy healthcare or pay a tax , just to subsidize the healthcare of the lowlife scum that voted for him.

Stuck his nose into police matters.

Was a race divider.

Didn't even attempt to bring jobs back.

Was the Food Stamp President.

And you hate Trump because he's not a pussy and fires back at people who fire on him first.

What comment did I make that I should stand behind and didn’t?

So you thought Daquan was a black name like SOJ?

What was the racism? Did you mean insensitive or bigoted perhaps?

Careful throwing around the racist zinger too much.

I don’t recall his exact post but I remember it being bigoted and not racist.

Too lazy to go back that far.

Not you, him. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.

It was definitely racist. Which again, is whatever. It's a weak point. He just shouldn't be such a pussy about it.

You should realize that is more to save healthcare institution, than boomers. Regardless of age, healthy people without comprised conditions will recover.

How was it racist exactly? I’m honestly interested in how a leftist sees it that way.

I happen to think bigoted is more accurate.

Why is it racist? Perhaps the word definition has changed over the years due to leftist influence. No idea really.

cow towing to the Dems

Seriously, kowtowing is not a good strategy, and I have never advocated it.

The GOP gets things correct about 75%, while the Dems do well to reach 25%. The problem is that Trump is at the center of almost everything that the GOP gets wrong.

Was he better than HRC? Obviously. Did that make him “necessary?” This IS a good question.

He was (in my view) the worst of the GOP 2016 primary candidates (ideologically), but (conversely) he may well have been the only one who could beat the bitch because the GOP needed to attract x-number of stupid (and some “deplorable”) voters to beat her. He appealed to the stupid voters that the GOP needed to add to their coalition.

So, yeah, he may indeed have been “necessary.”. That does not mean that I must LIKE him, and I certainly need not knob-slobber over a ham-fisted propaganda video.

Probably indeed more accurate.

It certainly shows a certain condescension toward folks who saddle their kids with patently-ridiculous names.

Fair point. I was mainly just digging at him. I work in healthcare. Thing is, nothing is going to save us if it gets bad. It will be triage, just like Italy. We can't create beds or vents.

No. You don’t have to like him. You know he was necessary.

The question is will someone like him be necessary to win future elections? The numbers game is favoring those leaning closer to socialism. I don’t think you want that either.

I think conservative blacks have a certain level of contempt for saddling kids with names that we know get looked down upon in the resume filtering process.

I think tbird has also mentioned it.

The last study I saw was eye opening and sad for those affected.
