Absolutely agree. This demonstrates the depths to which identity politics has sunk.
It does not make one damn bit of difference if he is gay. So why should that be a factor in voting for him? Just like Hillary and Obama. Voting based on identity is the road to failure.
We had an Obama for President Headquarters on St. Thomas. We could not vote for US President as residents of a US Territory. I asked folks why they wanted him to be POTUS. All answers: because he is black. WTF?
