EBRSO uses SWAT at least once a week, haven't seen them in the news lately for blunders.

They are mostly used to arrest violent offenders who are a risk to the rest of the population, at least in EBR, now for the rest of the country I have no idea.

This is one of the most naively simplistic statements aimed at addressing the incredibly complex potential of spontaneous actions to unpredictable situations involving unknown personalities, I've read in a while.

What do you suggest be the solution to you "zero tolerance" standard?
I wonder how many police have been killed by giving a suspect the benefit of the doubt? Shouldn't your "zero tolerance" standard also apply to the public at large?
