See above. Trump admin were advised by they. If therapeutics (along with a few doses of sanity for the media) were endorsed, the "pandemic" would have been over in mid 2020. This would have been just fine for most people, but those who wanted regime change in America at any cost ("they") saw an opportunity too good to pass up. Thus, they attacked therapeutics to prolong the pandemic and justify the EUA with the intention of forcing the vax to be the savior.

They are starting the pivot we all knew was coming...
They will spin the whole thing around and blame it all on the previous administration. The vaccine failure. The lockdown failure. The demonization of political opposition. It will all be flipped upside down and layed at the feet of the Great Orange Menace and by association all conservatives. The 'progressives' will probably believe it and rally around it.
But it may split the 'conservatives' in half. Those that see the greater pandemic scheme and those that still think it was just a virus that required all the nonsense gov't did to 'combat' it.
