As far as I'm aware, I've never couched the issues in anything other than conditionals. Nor did I say the mere acquisition warrants anything. The facts of the matter are this: the Israeli police are recommending bribery charges against Netanyahu. It is up to the state prosecutor to decide whether to indict. If he is indicted, then the Israeli Supreme Court has ruled that ministers under indictment must resign. I don't think restating the facts of the case make me anti-Semitic, hence why I didn't follow your post.

You're first post was dismissive and you've given no impression that you understood the gravity of the charges, what they mean in the Israeli context, the history of similar investigations, or anything other than accusing people of being anti-Jewish. The facts remain, Netanyahu has been accused by Israel Police of bribery, among other charges, and they have formally recommended his indictment to the state prosecutor, Avichai Mandelblit, who will be the one who decides whether to bring down an indictment. I've only brought up "losing your shite" because of your odd reaction in this thread, which has yet to provide a substantive point.

You missed the point..possibly because of the bitter clinging to your pet beliefs? My comment was directed at that, which I perceived in other anti Israel sentiments, that I based in past experiences with that black/white kneejerk reaction.
How is one to interpret kneejerk anti Israeli sentiments as other than ..well..anti Israeli or anti Jew?

I've written extensively on the ME. There is plenty of evidence on this board. I don't think I've ever expressed an anti-Israel sentiment, because I'm not anti-Israel.

They could possibly be anti-Netanyahu, anti-Zionist, pro-Labour, anti-Likud. If your formulation for opposition to Netanyahu is immediately that person is anti-Israel or anti-Jew, I understand why, as there is most definitely an Antisemitic undercurrent in all things related to Israel, but I've been a dispassionate, as much as possible, observer of ME politics since Arab Spring in earnest. The only preference I've stated in that time is a strictly anti-Wahhabi one. I don't think anything I've said in this thread could constitute anything remotely anti-Israeli.

It's made up of two cases, called Case 1000, which alleges Netanyahu accepted gifts from a businessman, and Case 2000, where Netanyahu negotiated favors with a film producer in exchange for both favorable coverage and weakening a rival newspaper. What I find odd is that any condemnment or resentment towards Israel is interpreted as support for its enemies. Just because I dislike their outsized influence on our foreign policy doesn't mean I want their enemies to destroy them - in fact, I'd much prefer Israel in most cases. This does not mean I want the American taxpayer or military to be used towards their interests and goals, however.
