I don't think you could find a single Democrat that was in Congress in the 80s that would not look like a right winger to today's Libs.

Theoretically there was no difference at the start of November 1992.

Within days of the election, the Clintons went batshit crazy with announced leftist policies they kept under wraps during the election season.

Most of today's right wingers are only slightly right of Bill Clinton. Many are slightly left of him. The radical shifting of the Democratic party has pulled the GOP left.

Meh, Clinton wasn't really conservative. He was a center-left democrat. But more than anything, he was a politician. If congress had been a bunch of liberals, he would have pressed for liberal programs.

Im not saying Clinton was Conservative. Im saying the right has moved left. A 90s Blue Dog democrat is right of the present GOP. Clinton did not govern too far left of that, though I think he would have liked to.
