A couple of things. First, in the US, we investigate crimes, not people. Collusion isn’t even a crime per Politico so it seems to me that the entire investigation is built on a false pretense. That said, if there are foreign agents involved in manipulating the election; I can get behind firing up the Patriot Act and making sure it doesn’t happen again.
Which leads to the second point. The Tarmac meeting was attended by the acting AG in SECRET with Clinton’s hubby. Not only is Trump demanding a meeting in public, but with the leaks from DOJ and the IC, do you really think that “secret evidence” wouldn’t come out if there was concern he’d somehow destroy or manipulate it? Also, the IC who Trump is meeting with aren’t responsible for prosecuting him, should the SC find wrong doing.
Next, Trump’s been investigated by a SC with its own FISA dictat for two years and the only indictments so far have had nothing to do with his campaign “colluding”. Again, not a crime

Turns out the real threat to American democracy was the Obama White House.
He weaponized the IRS against American citizens that didn't support him and used the FBI and CIA to spy on his political enemies in the US.
