Do you think the Taliban was involved with Bin Laden in "killing Americans"?

Absolutely....there's what they said and then what actually happened.

Did you know that the Taliban actually made offers to the U.S. to turn Bin Laden over after 9/11?

Why didn't they?

if I recall, I think it was going to be as a negotiation to get hostages back on their end.

But we, rightfully so IMO, said we're not negotiating shite, either hand him over or we'll find him ourselves.

ISIS is the democratic party's muslim terror organization. It was created by dems, for dems. Armed and funded by the us govt.

They were willing to hand him over to a third-party, a Muslim organization, which would try him with evidence provided by the US. They weren't willing to hand him over directly to the US in the absence of 'evidence' of his involvement in 9/11.

They also promised more sweeping changes in ruling Afghanistan, but those were unspecific. Here's an article from an Indian news source from 2001 that highlights the secret meeting in Islamabad. LINK

Here's an op-ed from 2011 that gives a few more details. LINK

There's a Guardian article from 2001 that goes into great detail, but I can't find it at the moment.

Exactly....there were never going to hand Bin Laden over to a Delta Force or SEAL team. They weren't going to hold him accountable in any way, shape, or form.

Bin Laden to this day is a fricking hero in Afghanistan.

OBL died of natural causes and then we staged his capture. Then some of the team aka loose end were offed when the DS got word a couple of them might one day speak the truth.

The Taliban suck arse in their beliefs but most are terrorist of their country. Isis aka cia was behind the suicide bombing.

Do you find it strange this happened shortly after the cia arrived to arrange shite with their leaders.

To some probably.

I personally think that ISI cultivated various assets throughout the 80's and 90's that they didn't want to lose, Bin Laden among them. Their relationship with the Haqqani Network goes back to the 70's. If you look at things, ISI has been the biggest winner in all of this, with the long-term objectives of certain Pakistani factions met. The inability of the US to understand why Pakistan has an interest in Central Asia is key to why Afghanistan is the way it is.

They are such liars. At one point they denied ISIS then the terrorist threats happened they couldn't hide--- so they said ISIS K.

Probably because he gave them a billion dollars and more weapons to motivate them.

Funniest lie that Joe has told yet? Maybe. ISIS-K has no ' installations', and we have no fracking CLUE who their leadership is because we gave the TALIBAN a kill list of those assets we had working for us!!!
