You need to look at Andrew Tate from the perspective of his followers. These men have depression, anxiety, and social isolation. They were all probably bullied when they were kids. They want someone who will speak up for them, because they have nobody. And that’s the most heartbreaking part.

You ever see the film Joker? Remember when Arthur was on the Murray Franklin show and said, “no one thinks about what it’s like to be the other guy”? He was speaking about how society has bred a product of lonely, depressed, suicidal people who have no one to talk to. You don’t have to agree with me about Tate. But I hope you can see that there’s a mental health crisis among young men today and yet no one cares. Of course they’re going to follow people like Tate.

They sound like losers. They need better heroes in order to not be losers anymore.

I agree, but Tate makes the matters worse for these people, not better.

Its superficial.

Calling these people “losers” is exactly why they all turn to Tate. Why don’t you feel a little bit of compassion for them? Putting these people down is not going to help their situation at all. We’re supposed to help each other up as men, not break each other down.

No wonder this world is so fricked up today

I'm cool with that. Gives them a sense of belonging and they stay out of everyone elses way.

Hopefully he keeps them from shooting up schools.

We've all been there. I grew out of it by the age of 22 without having some grifting phony giving me advice.

Why is the nostalgia for the 1950s so strong? It was the post-war period and allowed America to thrive, which I get.

However, there was plenty of bad shite going on, it was just swept under the rug. It was also the early Cold War years.

Why do you need a hero?

The 50s saw the lowest inflation rate our country had ever seen. Homes were super-affordable, and all you needed to provide for your family was a high-school diploma and blue collar job. People were happier and there was no woke bullshite like there was today. I think it's fair to say that the 1950s was the Golden Age of America.

I have never heard of this guy but you describe how Jim Jones preyed on those like the above. They are easy to be attracted to your cult. Hope they don't drink the Kool aid.

The Great Inflation period of 65-85 hurt the middle class badly.

Millions of blue collar workers suddenly found themselves unable to work in their chosen field due to mfg going abroad, abandoning the gold standard (Keynesian economics on steroids) welfare caused massive government spending and illegal immigration put downward pressure on wages.

This country became too lax with illegal immigration as well as legal immigration to a certain degree. This country has 336,000,000 citizens which is the third largest out of any country in the world. In the 50s, the population was around 150,000,000.

It's pretty simple: over time, lenient laws led to more people coming to this country which drove up the cost of living as well as median home prices. With the situation we have going on in Texas with illegals invading the border, it's going to keep getting worse. I don't even want to imagine what the inflation situation will be like in 20 years.

I have been waiting for progressives to understand the link between illegal immigration and stagnant wages, and as of yet....nothing.

Loose spending, lax immigration and loss of manufacturing (more organic than not) caused prices to outpace wages. Its fact.

find your own mountain, climb at your own pace, sit on top and enjoy the fruits of your labor, not someone elses.
