Fair enough, I shouldn’t have dragged that aspect in. We have too much common ground and too many enemies to internally fight. I just cannot stand the papacy, and the last few popes have made it all the more so - it’s like watching one of the offshoot Methodist or Baptist churches where figs can be pastors. It’s just wrong.

I lived in Va Beach about 40 years ago, had some navy pilots as friends, what a hoot.

Someone asked one of them if it pissed him off the protesting. He said "nah just practicing their free speech, I strap 2000lb pound bombs between my balls and drop them on people to ensure they can exercise that freedom".

This guy was the top pilot three years running off his aircraft carrier, should have been drummed out if he wasnt so good. They said he would take off and they are supposed to run their instruments instead he would say "May God Bless America, and may God have mercy on the souls of her enemies I am about to deliver".

Fighter pilots do it for the rush, their is no great career path for them after the military, they used to say. Who wants a pilot flying to max in 6 seconds and dropping on a dime in the commercial industry. I asked one what made him decide.....

He said smoking cigars. You drop on an aircraft carrier in 20 foot seas at night.....your arse is so tight you could smoke a cigar with it, aint no thrill like it
