What else might that be?

(Understand, before you answer, the f/u question is going to involve Hitler starting WWII)

Lol at all the downvotes for Mitchell Smedley. This thread is hilarious. We've got a strange contigency of posters very angrily defending the British Empire. And they justify it by saying that the Germans wanted world domination and to put people in concentration camps, without a hint of irony.

Carry on.

He lost all of that credibility when he claimed that the Holocaust was just an unfortunate logistical problem that Churchill created.

I just discovered Darryl Cooper a few days ago - with this thread - I have him on my bookmark for further delving into. I have spent about an hour listening to one of his podcasts.
But I came back to this thread to gain some insight from the PT denizens, of whom there are a half dozen whose inputs I respect.

I am not at all interested in any 'whitewash' of the Hitler regime - and am too damned old to be re-educated if I am wrong. I'll meet my Maker with my current view of that topic.

So - I doubt I'll spend more time with Darryl.

Thanks for the wake-up call.

Third Reich - Was a vision, or a goal to establish a thousand-year reign of a sovereign nation state. No mention of world conquest.

The dude literally talks about it in chapter one of Mein Kampf :

quote:

Never will the German nation possess the moral right to engage in colonial politics until, at least, it embraces its own sons within a single state. Only when the Reich borders include the very last German, but can no longer guarantee his daily bread, will the moral right to acquire foreign soil arise from the distress of our own people. Their sword will become our plow, and from the tears of war the daily bread of future generations will grow.

This thread about why Trump supporters hate the media and federal agencies is what put him on the map.
LINK

He's obviously a well-read and brilliant guy. But, he seems like the type of person who reads so much that he grabs on to contrarian pieces and gives you an "ackchyually" on everything. In looking for that thread, I see MSM is destroying him as a Nazi and Big Lie apologist. I caught him on Glenn Greenwald's show last year and appreciated his perspective in Israel-Gaza.

He's more of a liar than anything else. But because Tucker is MAGA and agrees with this guy's takes on history, we have to like him.

His series on Israel/ Palestine was excellent and objectively not wrong. The Hagana, Ergun and Stern Gang really did engage and encourage terroristic activities in Palestine. British soldiers were kidnapped and some killed. The King David Hotel really was blown up by Zionist entities......in fact Begin, Shamir and others never denied taking part in those activities and others.

Even on his worst day. Churchill was nowhere near as bad. Although what he did in India in 1943 and The Bengali Famine is something that he and the British have never truly answered for.
