I had the privilege of speaking briefly with a young person that has attended protests in three states. The peaceful kind.

I am afraid if that person's viewpoint is the same as most we have a very big problem on our hands.

I won’t cover everything but the most striking theme is revenge.

This person talked about the rioters and looters being just. I asked for more details and basically it boils down to there has been so much injustice that even burning and looting is fine

I said ok then. We have to now forget about the long held principle of two wrongs don’t make a right.

I then asked how much wrong is needed to account for past sins? Of course there was no good answer.

If a good number of these BLM members and their allies truly believe this then I do not see any way that this ends well as they seem to believe violence is legitimate.

They are calling for a revolution and willing to use violence in that revolution.

So now we have to ask our prog friends that called the south traitors for the civil war...

Are these people also traitors when they commit these violent revolutionary acts?

You see what’s happening in Seattle with antifa zones. Make no mistake. These are communists.

Quite the precarious situation our true liberal friends have put themselves in.

ETA One last shocking point:

This person believes that even good cops are bad because they are part of the system. I said don’t you want more good cops? Of course, I couldn’t get a good answer.

They’re followers. What they think they want, they don’t actually want. If what they wanted actually came to pass, they would be the first to run, hide, and cry in a corner. They’re just foolish followers.

So a peaceful young protester thinks burning and looting is justified.

This person left the protests at dark. Not an antifa brick thrower...yet.

Maybe. But this person was talking in revenge language and perhaps unknowingly.

It’s was eye opening.

They appear to approve getting even.

This is a Marxist revolution. The isn't about a black man being killed by a cop.

We are fixing to pay for years of allowing our kids to be brainwashed in Marxist indoctrination centers. AKA Government Schools

What these "young" people never realize is that this is all local. The federal government is not running police departments. It's local cops led by a local chief selected by a local commission appointed by local politicians or voted on by local citizens. And they're mostly if not all Dems.

The people have direct control of that. The first Americans made revolution quite easy and bloodless. You just vote. And if you're not satisfied then you run for office.

So democrats protest like they vote - multiple states to look like they are more than they are

I mean that's hardly surprising. The city council president of Minneapolis wants to abolish all cops. She envisions a world where they don't exist.

There's a deep trouble brewing.

Depends on who wins. You know this, though.
