We expect to stop rising more than 1-2%.
And, as I said, neither have any real plan to accomplish this goal.
Trump has some proposed policies that would help (like trying to increase petro drilling/production to lower energy prices) but then also proposes a lot of inflationary stuff (tariffs, increased military spending, protecting SS spending, making manufacturing more expensive by bringing it onshore, "rebuilding our cities" (whatever that means), etc.)

AKA he married a self-absorbed, materialistic woman.

As has Trump, hence why I said neither has really offered solutions to inflation.

Correct, which is why nobody has a plan for inflation (or reducing government spending).
The effects would lead to negative economic results, which would not be popular. A recent example is the justification for lowing fed rates

Thanks. I am unaware of the pandemic. Perhaps you can share your vast knowledge of virology -- obtained at UNO -- to enlighten me.

At least he has some ideas that could help lower inflation, Kamala has zero.
All those highly educated 150 IQ people you love to talk about seem to have missed Economics in college. Her price controls would lead to massive shortages and higher prices period.

Where did I say they were voting Kamala?
I think even you have said you may not vote for Trump or Kamala, correct?

You would need an economics aficionado, not a virus expert.
We listened to doctors who were afraid of their own shadow, but not economists. I think most people deserve a little pain for being such retards.

That's how it used to be. Stats have changed. Fifty years ago married couples, both with jobs, had 20% wives making more and 80% husbands making more. Today it's 50-50 for the first time in US history. Two reasons...way more women getting college degrees. DEI putting less qualified women into high paying jobs once dominated by men.
The culture has drastically changed. Does anyone think Kamala Harris would be a serious candidate for President 50 years ago?

CSB time.....in 2020, there were news stories and accompanying videos of swimmers being detained at beaches for not following masking rules.
I made a comment that it was idiotic to arrest someone who is in an ocean and has nobody else anywhere in the vicinity.
One of my cousins who has zero medical training/zero medical career experience messaged me to say: It pained her to see how ignorant I am.

The State of Washington banned recreational fishing.
That might be the most stupid thing by a government I've ever heard.

Second place goes to: The big box stores can stay open, but make the grocery aisles 1-way and shorten the hours.....since apparently, COVID thrived at 10 p.m. and not 6 p.m.

Whats Kamala's plan?
What's Trumps plan?
Which one is more feasible?
One says ease regulations to bring back manufacturing and ease energy costs while the other says print more money. Pretty sure I can guess which one will be better in the long run.

yep.
Trumps plan while not great at least proposes anti inflationary things. Kamala promotes more inflation and shortages.
To say theyre "the same" takes a childish mind.

It’s going to be very interesting if he wins watching everyone furious when we don’t go back to 2019 prices.
People who are employed and not economically illiterate should realize that handing out student loan bailouts and "free" food, phone and housing vouchers to illegal immigrants are big parts of the current price issues.
I don't think people are expecting 2019 prices.....they want better policy than Potato/Harris.

The suburban moms/dads and standard of living
Every time we talk about cost of food, rent/mortgage, health insurance, etc...
The one thing that baffles me is the moms who work at schools or in other professional jobs and they make 50-75 K.
I can't wrap my head around the Facebook likes and neighborhood approval from peers being worth crushing your own standard of living as costs go up 10 percent....20 percent....
If you think about the Left as followers of a religion rather than a political view it makes perfect sense
Ever wonder how ancient people could sacrifice their own children to idols? It was these types of people, they gladly burned their own children to death for the social accolades it brought
These people live to one up each other on what they've sacrificed for "Social Justice"
Casually perusing Facebook today I've seen one "girl dad" brag on his Facebook on how he knew voting for Hillary, Biden, and now Harris is voting against his best interest because it's more important for his daughter to live in a "fair" society than for her to be bolstered by his success and I've seen another couple brag about sending their daughter to a terrible school so she wouldn't have as much of an advantage over minority children
To these people, the social "attaboys" are worth more than their own children so ofcourse they'll vote for someone who will make their lives worse

Most of this country is economically illiterate, and its one of the most important academic subjects out there.
Should be taught in HS everywhere.
