The subreddit dedicated to Trump was destroyed - Twitter isn't the first to interfere

Reddit gutted "The Donald"

Twitter censoring the president

Fact checkers all over Facebook

None of those are partial media environments and are openly attacking conservative thought.

One thing I have always said is this - "In the battle of ideas, those who seek to silence often have ideas that would never stand in the face of criticism.

What should be done - currently no real laws on the book to have platforms respect ideology even ideology they don't agree with.

One quick visit to r/politics and you could see the writing on the wall for r/The_Donald.

Even the shills are now stinking up /pol/. That’s why we can’t have nice things...

Conservatives need to develop their own platform. I don’t think anything legally can be done tbh.

r/thedonald was so incredibly cringe it’s honestly for the best it got deleted

There are still based subreddits if you know what to look for

There was a leaked mod chat of Reddit mods discussing how to deal with the Donald years ago. Basically the entire mod team openely hates conservatives and were trying to strategize on a game plan to destroy it. The end game was to remove all of the mods and bury it in quarantine. It finally worked - most of the users either left - Like myself or went to TheDOnald.win which is sort of a carveout of the Donald with less users.

Any subreddit outside of the Donald is immediate bans for anything remotely supportive of Donald Trump. It's full blown open communism on r/pol and they spread their bots all over the site. Reddit is going to 4chan itself.

Maybe, but it was a good way to keep updated on spygate, russia hoax and the like. It was a media platform for users.

R/pol isn't jsut cringe. It could be classified as a hate group. It's insane what's allowed there. Open threats to the president daily and nothing is done.

I know some based subreddits but I refuse to give those commies a click.

The problem with having a conservative site is the conservative has to control everything - That includes the web hosting, domains, IPs everything. Democrats have done more to control your thought than people realize. For Instance, Thedonald.win had to change webhosters because GoDaddy removed them.

It's pretty factual - any default sub. Im not talkign about little private subs or barely moderated subs that have low traffic.

r/pics, R/askreddit, r/twochromosmes, R/etc

the list goes on and on. The site is a commie shithole.

Don’t worry, the president is “monitoring the situation”

I could go on but you get the point.

The censorship sucks. But these are all private companies and if they want to go down that road it's technically their right (and their funeral).

the_donald is doing just as good, or better, at thedonald.win now. Twitter will likely lose a large chunk of audience to the censorship free alternative (forgot the name of it right now.) That's free market, baby!

The truest quote in our lifetime.

I wonder if the board can list some other topics we are not allowed to speak of or question, at all. You know, for science.

The two alternatives are Gab and Parlor at this point with Parlor gaining steam. That being said, it would require the president performing a mass exodus like Joe Rogan did with YouTube to bring spotlight to one of those sites. If he went to Parlor, the world would lose it's minds and then follow him there.

I'm curious if those sites would get overwhelmed like Voat did when the exodus tried to relocate there from Reddit. Trump would bring millions of users out of nowhere.

I imagine they would probably need to buy more cloud space and up their server game a bit but I would hope any media company at this point in the conservative space is at some point before the 2020 election - expecting a mass influx. Twitter is going to either ban his account at some point or continue fact checking his statements until it becomes openly hostile. Something has to give.

Political subreddit is 70% bots, 25% libs, 5% nonliberals.

Bots started being launched in other political subreddits also.

I stopped going to the Donald after bots started spamming it every day.

All have ONE thing in common - the defense department.

Let that sink in.
