People want all kinds of things without looking at the bigger picture and the future cost of such desires.

That’s certainly a big component.

In high schools across this country, boys can be popular a number of ways. They can be athletes, they can be smart. But the primary way a girl can be popular is by being promiscuous.
The most popular girls in my school were very nice, athletic, smart, and not promiscuous. Maybe I just went to a non-trashy school.

I'm just going to say that women are not the saints they are made out to be. Think about it - a hundred women go out on a Friday night looking for sex with a man. A hundred men do the same looking for sex with a woman. What sex has a higher percentage of scoring? Women, always.

What prompted this diatribe? Your wife leave you for another woman? Your daughter stripping for bikers? Something had to prompt this.

Your answer is lacking any contemplation. It's always interesting to take the position of the person who finds out their mother is a slut/whore, or sister, or daughter.....to make it really easy place these three women into the porn industry......are you proud of them or are you ashamed and concerned for their wellbeing? Now contemplate.

And your making my point.
Women, ultimately are the deciders of how sexual our society will be, because they have generally been the ones who provided the restraint.

Even some atheist are now realizing that having a society influenced by biblical principles is a net positive. I guess you don’t fall into that category?

There are certainly outliers. In my day, it was the same. Same school today where I have nieces and nephews, not the case.

This has got to be the weirdest thread ever. Basically it sounds like OP got home from work and was pissed to see his wife waiting for him necked instead of having dinner cooked.

I'll take dessert first every time.

it got me thinking about all the broken families and destruction being caused by our modern sexual revolution.

But this relationship wasnt broken because of over sexualized woman. This one was broken because of a shitty arse husband who would have cheated 50 years ago without tinder by "staying late at the office" or some other excuse. You just wouldnt have heard about it before cause you wouldnt still be in touch and be able to keep up with your sons exes from years ago.

"I agree!" say the posters on this board, as they come here to look at political threads in between PornHub sessions

100% this.

It's why men are now elite insanely good video game players instead of poon hounds.

Video games are now more challenging than women.

So it's okay for men to act like horn dogs, but women must be prim and proper?

From a biological/evolutionary perspective, its always been the role of the male OF ANY SPECIES to spread as much seed as he can.

Since women only have one egg at a time and a gestation period of 9 months, it makes total sense from an evolutionary/biological perspective that women are more selective

This is why this classic feminist analogy you decided to use here falls flat on its face

This is an interesting theory. I think you are onto something.

I agree on a moral level, however if you think, on average, women and men look at casual sex the same way you're wrong.

I 100% agree with you. I was talking on a moral level.
But OP does have a point on the change in women. Cause there is no denying that. Follow some account on Instagram like OldRow and other college based ones. I swear these girls are 10x crazier then they were when i was in college just 7-10 year ago. And i think Social Media has a huge part in that.

You never answered my question.

But, no - not really. I think Judeo-Christian values/ethics have served a purpose but there is no reason to extrapolate anything other than basic human values that we derived from the Bible and other sources (prior to the Bible). That is, we don't need to believe there is an invisible man in the sky watching our behavior and listening to our thoughts in order to be kind/good to one another. Christianity is but one hill on a moral landscape of hills and valleys.

Again, you are making my point.
Yes, many men would have always cheated if given the opportunity, because men are sexually aggressive by nature. One of the historical restraining factors has been women who traditionally didn’t want to be viewed as sluts by society, so they behaved accordingly.
Now those societal norms have changed, the women feel no obligation to be sexually pure and the availability of sexually uninhibited women has opened the floodgates of our current sexual no holds barred society.

Cant get likes on Instagram without showing skin. And Instagram likes are the currency of popularity amongst high school and college girls.
