Thanks. My nephew is a marine who fought in Afghanistan. He was adamant about saving the Afghans that fought alongside his unit.

I didn't remember ANY opposition to the proposition that those Afghans who fought on our side should be granted asylum. It looks like that's what the Trump DOJ decided about this monster.

It's a shame this tragedy is being politicized.

Indeed. We have a moral obligation.

I am rather cautious about the rest of the population though. Large portions of Afghanistan are extremely backwards and primitive. It has been my experience that they integrate very poorly into Western societies.

So, is it fair to say all the Senators and Congressmen who voted for these bills and the Trump DOJ have blood on their hands?

I don't think so, but fairness and rationality aren't valued in times such as this. Horrible tragedy. This is the sole fault of the monster that did it. Thank God for the heroes who stopped him. Praying for the victims.

Follow Mike Benz on X. He is giving a history lesson on what the CIA is currently doing with this guy and the 6 congressmen (women) calling for insurrection.

I certainly wouldn’t argue with withdrawing all of our funds/spies/NGO types from these places. “Biden” probably surrendered Afghanistan just to maximize how many they could fly over, and not just in the ‘evacuation’ disaster.

We need to close all military bases abroad and bring troops to do what they are supposed to do, defend the homeland.

Obviously this bastard didn't integrate either. His presence here was part of a moral equation. In his case we obviously got it wrong.
Unmitigated tragedy, but I don't think either political party is more to blame.

Of course, if the issue is illegal immigration generally that IS clearly something we can hang on the Dims.

Thanks. I have been impressed with him in the past. I hope he brings receipts.

If he was granted asylum, we need to know where. When it comes to ME “refugees” we cannot afford those cases to run through some rubber stamping chicom immigration judge in San Francisco.
