With all the talk of this bombshell memo of abuses why are we passing this?

On Thursday afternoon, the US Senate voted in favor of the FISA Amendments Reauthorization Act of 2017, a bill that will expand the warrantless surveillance of US citizens. The bill passed by a vote of 65-34, with 43 Republicans and 21 Democrats voting in its favor.

The bill will now go to the White House to be signed into law by President Trump. It reauthorizes FISA Section 702 until 2024.

Gonna have to now make excuses for why this is good since they’ve all been opposed to it up till now.

Well, the democrats want to shut down the government for illegal aliens but would not stop this. Why don't you ask them why?

Pretty weak deflection. It's ok to say you disagree with Trump.

Trump was correct on his first tweet. His instincts are gold.

Regarding FISA, Trump is probably thinking...."It is my turn now, bitches! The Democrats will be begging for golden shower stories when I am done with them."

It is all BS.

Seems like a somewhat sensationalist oversimplification of the actual authorities contained in 702.

It's a necessary law and it's not that sexy...

Do you ever have any sustance to any of your posts?

And I am still against this piece of shite legislation. But don’t worry, stay distracted by stories about shitholes, Trump’s health, and DACA bullshite, sheep.

It’s not like anyone should have any illusions that Washington has our best interests at heart.

I would like to be a fly on the wall when this gets explained to him...

Also would like to know how Senators Kennedy, Cassidy, Sanders, Harris, Jones, Paul, Rubio, and McCain voted...

A majority of Democrats voted against it, but sure, blame them for the thing only 7 Republicans had the balls to vote against despite them CONSTANTLY WHINING trying to use FISA as a distraction from the scandals of a Republican president.
