I mean technically it isn’t their job to have an opinion on what’s going on. The job is to vote on what the majority of their populous / voters say to. So basically they will pander to whoever / whatever they think will get them re-elected. That’s why you see people like Pelosi taking Photo ops - she knows what it takes to stay in office. I can’t believe most of the people in her district want to vote for a white rich lady but she knows how to slur her way back into office.

Most of them will try to watch and see what happens and then try to push something through Congress so they can say they did what was needed or they helped in the movement. The issue i see is it’s the same people in office doing the same thing. Basically nothing but something on their own agenda to make their own mark and just enough to stay in office

It is not so much that they support Biden, it is that they are tired of Trump and his incoherance policy wise.
I personally know a Republican Congressman who thinks Biden is a bullshite artist out to create generational wealth for his family and won't vote for him. But he says Trump is impossible to work with...a man who goes out his way to stomp on his own balls ....as he put it.

Look, I will vote Trump because the alternative is nihilistic anarchy with corporate socialism thrown in for good measure.
