I have a autistic son. He is out of school and never had any issues in Hall County. But that video is very upsetting. Just unreal
If my son was attacked like that, he would have no idea how to react or defend himself.

Dekalb is essentially Atlanta. I'm currently sending crews out to a movie theater project over in Dekalb. I advise them to carry if they are legally able to do so. The "good" neighborhoods in Dekalb are not in Atlanta proper, but those that are in Atlanta proper or adjacent to it are most definitely NOT neighborhoods you want to be in.
And let's be honest, Decatur, Chamblee, Clarkston, etc. are as much Atlanta as Harlem or Brooklyn is NYC. There is no definitive line of demarcation.

NO, WE DIDN'T.
Every single one of those shitstains was born here. They are NOT direct descendents of slaves.
They are direct descendents of single mothers whose fathers may as well be ghosts. If lucky, there's a grandmother trying to raise them, but for the most part NO ONE is doing a damn thing to teach them how to contribute to a civilized society. They are raising themselves like the kids in "Lord of the Flies."

Acktfhoooallly… there are parts of DeKalb County that are City of Atlanta. Roughly 10% of the City is in DeKalb.
They were always trying to annex my neighborhood. We had an Atlanta address but unincorporated DeKalb.
The more you know. And less anyone cares. lol.

So is there no more to this story?? Like the mother getting a lawyer and suing the school, and parents?
I don't understand how the mom can't go to the police and have them press charges.

Now do Africa.
Different culture.

In 1940, the black illegitimacy rate was 19 percent, less than what it is for whites now.

Up until at least 1910 the black unemployment rate had been up to a half percentage point lower than the white rate
quote:
Black people in 1890 were more likely than White people to be members of a Christian congregation (36% vs. 33%)
Multiple cultures can be failing for different reasons and share the same skin color.
Africa has it's own problems, African Americans only share DNA with central and west Africa, East and South Africa never produced a high level of slaves for European/American markets.
It's known that East and West Africans are less related than Europeans are to Asians.
And East Africa has it's own set of problems... like Somalia.

Hundreds of thousands of African Americans moved to good school districts and/or send their kids to private schools to stay away from that shite.
Nothing racist about it.
Ghetto culture needs to be eradicated.
100%
Ghetto dysfunctional culture didn't exist until the 60s and 70s. Just look at the music industry. Instead of Fats Waller and Smokey Robinson, we get Cardi B and NBA Youngboy.
I hate it.

A mere 14 miles from downtown Atlanta. 7 miles from the airport.
“Not Atlanta”?
Ok.
That’s like saying a crime didn’t happen in Houston because it was actually in South Houston (an independent city 13 miles from downtown Houston).

It is part of metro Atlanta.

This thread is all fricked up on the facts. Was it in Riverdale? That's in Clayton County (also Atlanta). Riverdale is not in Dekalb County (also Atlanta).

In what way is Hall County different from a county like Clayton or Dekalb?

I was about to get snarky for a moment when I saw that comment until I realized who posted it. I shall hold my tongue and avoid making a fool of myself by stating the obvious as you have shone the light on it. Hall is indeed QUITE culturally different from Dekalb and Coweta.
Hope all is well with you over in Gwinnett.

Yeah Riverdale isn’t Atlanta. It’s a southside shithole suburb.

Too many people are getting hung up on geography.
