You can believe that

I don't believe that. America's preferred palate will in a few years smoothly transition from harmful red meat to innocuous meat substitutes, which are just as tasty, and are far healthier for the human body and the ecology.

minimum wage been $7.25 hr since the 80s, its around $10 hr now and they want it to double to $20 hr

What?

Minimum wage was in the $3 - $4 range well into the 1990s and was $5.15 an hour as late as 2006.

Public health officials for years have urged Americans to limit consumption of red meat and processed meats because of concerns that these foods are linked to heart disease, cancer and other ills.

But on Monday, in a remarkable turnabout, an international collaboration of researchers produced a series of analyses concluding that the advice, a bedrock of almost all dietary guidelines, is not backed by good scientific evidence.

If there are health benefits from eating less beef and pork, they are small, the researchers concluded. Indeed, the advantages are so faint that they can be discerned only when looking at large populations, the scientists said, and are not sufficient to tell individuals to change their meat-eating habits.

Any business paying an employee less than $8 in 2021 shouldn't be in business.

You're obviously naive regarding economic issues.
It's simply put, the process of supply and demand. If an employer offering $11.00 an hour can't find help, how in hell will one offering $7.25?

Such a wage is illivable in a hot climate where you can pay $300/month electricity costs, in an EFFICIENCY apartment in each of the months June through September. Don't tell me we don't need a national minimum wage increase.

Minimum wage was never intended to be a livable wage. Get a skill or get a roommate.

. $7.50 per hour is not livable no matter where you are in the country.

It’s an employers job to negotiate the pay someone’s skillet is worth not to pay them a wage just to be “livable”.
